Meet the Doctor

Dr._Broschay

Dr. Toinette Strusinski-Broschay, who also goes by Dr. Broschay, graduated from Michigan State University  in 1998 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She completed her undergraduate studies at Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan. After school, she worked at Caputo Animal Hospital for six years and then moved to Ash Veterinary Clinic in 2004 where she was named Medical Director. She held this position until April of 2011 when she purchased the clinic.  Dr. Broschay thoroughly enjoys working on such a variety of patients from reptiles and pocket pets to cats, dogs, birds, ferrets, rabbits and the occasional emergency farm animal and wildlife as well. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery and internal medicine.  Dr. Broschay also works with the 4 Keeps Rescue group donating time, medicine and surgery to help them find a home. She is extremely proud of the trust, loyalty and longevity that Ash Veterinary Clinic embodies. This veterinary hospital is one that has been in business and operating with the most community respect for more than 50 years. Although veterinary technology has changed throughout time, this veterinary clinic is built on a solid foundation because of awesome clients and great referrals.

Besides spending most of her time at the clinic, Dr. Broschay enjoys spending time with her three children and husband of 13 years. She has two dogs and six cats, which all hold names beginning with the letter “S”. Dr. Broschay enjoys reading non-medical books, playing with her dogs and just hanging out and relaxing when she can. She has been a resident of Carleton, MI for the past 12 years and loves the country atmosphere and the people in the community.

Dr. Broschay is looking forward to many more years of service to the community. She is very proud of the clinic and staff and is excited to show everyone why Ash Veterinary Clinic should be your first choice for animal care services.
